CARRIER-BAND TAPS

Relcom Carrier-band Taps are used to attach stations to a Carrier-band network's trunk cable.  Relcom makes a variety of taps with a number of options to meet industrial requirements.  Carrier-band Taps are housed in industrial-grade, epoxy encapsulated plastic cases.

Relcom's Taps have been used as part of many OEM Industrial DCS systems including Honeywell (TDC 2000 and TDC 3000), Fisher (Provox), Moore Process, etc.

The Taps are very high quality coax interconnection blocks that use the long standard F-connectors.  They are also known as "4-Drop Tap Assy", "DCS Tap Module", "Data Highway Port", or "4-Port Drop Tap Kit".

Relcom also makes and supplies Honeywell with Taps.  They buy them in packages of two using the following part number for 2, 4, and 8 port Taps (51201394-100, 51201395-100, 51109485-100 respectively).
