FBT-9 FIELDBUS COMTOOL

The Relcom Fieldbus ComTool (FBT-9) establishes communications among Foundation Fieldbus devices without a DCS (Host) allowing early checkout of wiring and devices.

When paired with an FBT-6 diagnostic tool or F809F Fieldbus Diagnostic Module, the FBT-9 is ideal for getting Fieldbus checkout done early.  Commissioning time is reduced by eliminating wiring and device problems ahead of time.

Troubleshooting during commissioning is also simplified because the wiring and devices have already been checked out.  The FBT-9 is an excellent tool for checking out functionality of Fieldbus segments on skids before shipment to site and supports acceptance testing of installation work done by subcontractors.
